The main area was immediately out of the rear of the house. This area required enhancing so the clients had enough room to relax and entertain. Working with angles to maximise the space, the design involved building into some of the existing lawn to connect the areas rather than separate them. Planning the borders to bring more wildlife into the space and further harmonise the new hard landscaping with the existing greenery worked well, as planting was repeated throughout the garden as a whole.

Timber arches along a pathway gave a sense of direction and structure which led to a separate existing lawn area. The paving and decking choices worked well together, especially as the colours reflected those in the property of varying shades of stone. A lovely project to be involved in.
